Project Exploration and Budget Meeting conducted at our showroom with one of our in house construction experts

Determine How you would like to work with us:

Troico is the Lower Mainland’s original fixed price contractor. Having pioneered this unique way to build and renovate – we know our proven system will give you the confidence in planning and executing all the details of your renovation!

  1. Site Measure and Drawing Creation – you are assigned one of our in house designers who will stay with you from the start of the process through to completion. The designer will attend your home and site measure the entire space. They will begin by consulting with your on design tastes, ideas and inspirations, they will use this to pull together your design package.

Multiple design meetings will occur where you will review: floorplans, style, colours, material selections, etc.

  1. Fixed Pricing Package Generation– Once the design package is created our office team uses it to create your very own Fixed Pricing Package. Your total obligation, should you move forward with that design is listed. We have a meeting to review the pricing in detail.
  1. Sign Off or Re-Design – If you’re ready we Sign-off if not you’re not we put back into design until you are. This could take a few attempts but we don’t stop until your budget and taste are aligned.
  1. After Design – Permit Drawings (if needed) are submitted to the city. Once approved, construction begins and your construction timeline is distributed.
  1. Construction – You are assigned a Project Manager who is dedicated to run your jobsite, you can reach them at any time through our online portal anytime or on their mobile phone during work hours. Updates are registered frequently through our system and photos are uploaded in detail to document the process. Clients can take comfort in monitoring their job through our system. Apps are available for apple and android products.
  1. Completion- Once the project reaches substantial completion, we have a detailed walkthrough with the client and document all deficiencies, deficiency wrap occurs once and then the fun part comes, moving in to your space!

  1. Planning Stages – The client will present Troico with either, a detailed scope of work document, a pre-done design package from an outside design firm or they may choose to use a Troico designer to create a design package or scope of work document
  1. Budget Pricing– Our office team uses all available documents to create cost allowances for specific items of the scope of work, once completed the office team will apply contingency allowances as they see fit to determine the overall budget for a job.
  1. Sign Off – If the above budget is agreeable, then we begin the process. Permit Drawings (if needed) are submitted to the city. Once approved, construction begins and your construction timeline is distributed.
